ROARING 20s POSTER PRESENTATION
Directions: In pairs of two you will be creating a poster and presenting a 5-10 minute presentation over an assigned topic of the Roaring 20s. There must be prepared a visual poster, a handout of notes for the class, and class participation.

A. Gale Power Search -
1. Go to: www.vermilionschools.org/vhs/library
2. Go to General Resources.
3. Select Gale Power Search and type in your search
term.
4. The search will give you results in magazine articles,
academic journals, reference books, newspapers, and
Multimedia.
4. You can do a basic search, subject search, or
advanced search. An advanced search will allow you
to type in more terms to produce a more narrow
search.
5. To print, click on the printer icon on the page, not at
the top on the tool bar.
B. EBSCO
1. Go to: www.vermilionschools.org/vhs/library
2. Go to General Resources.
3. Select Electronic Resources for Students.
4. Select Magazine and Newspapers.
5. Select EBSCO and Secondary Search then type in your
search term.
6. Like Gale, EBSCO will give you a variety of search
Results (magazines, newspapers, etc.). You can also
do an advanced search.
7. To print, click on the printer icon on the page, not at
the top on the tool bar.
C. American National Biography
1. Go to: www.vermlionschools.org/vhs/library
2. Go to General Resources.
3. Select Electronic Resources for Students.
4. Select Reference and Encyclopedias.
5. Choose American National Biography and click on the
ANB button.
6. In the Quick Search box, type in the last name, first
name of the DEAD American you are looking for.
7. To print, scroll down on the left scroll bar and click on
Print Article.
